Who we are

  • Christopher Jeffrey

Chris was born in 1966 in Newark, New Jersey and was raised on the Jersey Shore where he developed a great appreciation for surfing, music and design. Chris is obsessed with making things. This attitude directly affects our Office’s sensibility in creating Architecture and the collaborative nature that brings together the makers and most importantly, our Clients. Chris began the firm in 2005 with the intention of creating a studio that served the New York region.

Chris is an alumnus Virginia Polytechnic Institute where he received a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture with minors in Construction Management and Urban Studies. He also attended VPI’s European studies program in Riva San Vitale, Switzerland. Upon graduating in 1994, he was offered employment with Rudy Hunziker, Architect in Lugano, Switzerland spending two years working on innovative house designs and urban renewal projects. Returning to the states, Chris joined the team at Michael Ryan Architects in Loveladies, New Jersey and remained for nine years creating highly detailed residences.

Chris and his wife Laura live in Hampton Bays, New York with their two dogs Alice and Oatly at Sheridan Green, a sustainably designed house they contracted & built themselves. To learn more click here.

  • Emilio Dominguez

Emilio was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Spanish immigrant parents. He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the Facultad de Arquitectura, Diseno y Urbanismo - Universidad de Buenos Aires and became a licensed architect in Argentina. After building his professional career in both Argentina and the United States, he has spent the past decade living and working in the U.S.

Emilio's experience across a wide range of projects—from custom residences to large-scale urban developments—provides him with a unique perspective on design, problem-solving, and communication. Working in two countries and cultures has shaped his collaborative approach to architecture and reinforced his appreciation for thoughtful design, attention to detail, and sustainable building practices. He enjoys working closely with clients to transform ideas into meaningful spaces that respond to both their needs and the surrounding environment.

Outside of the office, Emilio enjoys traveling and experiencing different cultures firsthand. A former rower, he finds inspiration and tranquility near the water, where the rhythm of the waves continues to influence his appreciation for place and environment. Emilio lives in Hampton Bays, New York, with his dog, Perón.
